Running XSS seems Super High

I went for a 5k run today and whilst it was hard it was hot fast by most runners opnions, 25m 46s.

I wanted to have it and my other recent runs included in my xert training calculations.

I have made the run public at this url, Xert - Activity | activity_20185178522

It is saying i did XSS total of 378! With the constituent parts being:

Peak 24.65

High 130.4

Low 223

That seems like far too much work. What have I done wrong

There are multiple post about the same thing. You need to put your runs in a separate sports profile or turn off the power data. Garmin Run power is typically 50 percent higher than your cycling power. Xert will basically not distinguish between the activity types in one sports profile, so you will get very high XSS values and possibly a breakthrough.

I assume that you cannot retrospectively remove the power data from the TCX.It has been turned off in Garmin before recording?

Not directly, no.

You can use fitfiletools.com to strip the power data out of existing files and re-upload, if you wanted to.

Thanks
