Xert Training plan vs TR Training plan

Hi guys. I want to strongly improve my power 20-30 minutes and I would like to trust in the Xert training suggestion, my question is:
is the base of suggested workouts sufficient to achieve the goal or do I have to use the training plan for the timetrialist?
I just read the topic on the blog , Training Right For Your Event" , it follows that it is enough to mark the TARGET EVENT and xert will take me through all the periods and select the training sessions. I am asking because I can use the periods and workouts recommended by TrainerRoad.

I would say, yes – as long as you select time-trialist for your athlete profile.
