Xert for a total begginner

Quick background:

I’m a new cyclist coming from a pretty sedentary life. A friend gave me the advice to try a cycling app…that’s when i found xert and eventually this forum.

Fast foward until now, I’ve ridden for around 3 months but due to illness i stopped, and am eager to come back again.

Question:
What should i aim for in xert training if i have no activities in the past 30 days? Am i suppose to try and aim for a wattage and go with that? Im assuming the first few months will just be adding more volume and eventually intesity but i wanted some guidance, so i know im not putting too much/too few hours each day/week…same goes for intensity.

I’m lost and need some guidance. I wanna make sure i maximize my gains even if im just starting and it requires griding lots of hours. I have the time and patience for it!

Thanks in advance!

PS. There were alot of options for training tools/apps, and xert seemed to require some effort but i am sure it will pay on the long run!
