Workout Power Number

I assume the recommended workout zones are based on my threshold at the moment? I.e in days gone by before I used Xert I would do an FTP and set my zones up. Then update them after an FTP.

I ask because I have just tried to do one that was recommended. It was a tough one, but achievable apparently. Now it wasn’t I was gassed lol. It maybe just bad legs after some time off.
