Should I reset Program or just up Intensity

I have a current Program goal of “231w to 241w by 23rd May” for 5 minute power.

I am currently in the “Peak” phase however I am finding all recommended sessions very doable with only 1 High Intensity session a week.

I have marked Monday and Friday as days off.

Should I up intensity?

I find it hard to read Xert to know how well I am tracking against the goal/plan

I’m guessing you saw this on the iOS app? Forecast AI plans don’t directly have ‘phases’ like our original “Base-Build-Peak” program (formerly known as Target Event Date program). Updates are needed (& planned) for the Android and iOS apps to align them with many of our latest web app features.

Check out the ‘PROGRAM’ tab on the web - it will show how your training loads (low, high, & peak) and your fitness signature (TP, HIE, PP) are tracking versus the Forecasted values

You could push yourself for a breakthrough and see if you can exceed your goal. If so, create a new program with a new, higher goal! If you want to do HIIT a little more frequently, you can try changing your Training Polarization from the default (4:1) down to 3:1 or 2:1, which will give you smaller, more frequent doses of high intensity.

HTH!

Yes

Fitness Signature
TP 171 vs 171 Forecasted
HIE 18.8 vs 18.8 Forecasted
PP 941 vs 950 Forecasted
5min 231 231 Forecasted

Are their specfic Breathrough work outs for HIE and TP? BT workouts from memory feel like they are targetting PP

Thanks

Under Program tab select Table View to see your Fitness Signature and Training Load deltas.
There needs to be an increase in one or more values between Start and Final to establish a progression.
If not, select Modify Plan to ensure that. Namely a rise in Low, High, and/or Peak XSS.
To view your progression at any time, select Progression tab, XPMC, set to 3 months or a Year.

Today was “Pure Endurance” tomorrow is my High Intensity day and I have “SMART - Body Movin” scheduled

That looks like a viable forecast.
When was your last BT?
If you aren’t confident your signature reflects your current fitness how about riding this workout tomorrow instead of Body Movin?
You don’t have to complete all three sets. Just do the best you can.
You’ll likely get a BT on one set or another.

Done, Thanks for the recommendation

Is it obvious from that screenshot what I would have needed to do to get a Gold Breakthrough?
Can you tell from the iOS app that I am “breaking through”? I guess not

I was seeing the colours going purple as a good sign but am still not sure “how purple” it needed to be. I realise that expression doesn’t make sense

Gold would have required an increase in PP which can be triggered by an actual sprint effort above your current PP value or your ability to attempt a sprint (for at least 5-7 secs) above what is predicted you can generate when MPA is drawn down.

The EBC apps can indicate a BT during a workout, but it is only when the activity is uploaded and analyzed second-by-seccond on the server as to whether the BT is confirmed or not.

Rest assured that breakthrough as made sessions much harder
