Just a heads-up — the latest MyWhoosh update (v5.1.0) now includes support for importing structured workouts from Xert! I gave it a quick test this morning and everything appeared to work smoothly.
I scheduled a Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds workout as a test, and it appeared in the Calendar & Planning section — not under the standard Workouts menu. So be sure to check there for your synced workouts!
After any ride (not just workouts), completed activities in MyWhoosh will automatically sync to Xert for post-ride analysis — no need to manually upload files or rely on Strava syncing. It all happens seamlessly in the background!
In fact, you can even disconnect MyWhoosh from Strava entirely. Let Xert forward your completed MyWhoosh rides to Strava — complete with your training report and summary data :
Hey Scott, I gave this a try but it seemed like either Xert or MyWhoosh is doing something wrong. Connecting accounts was easy, the workout appeared once I opened the app and went to the calendar. The interval targets though were completely off. I have chosen Billar 30/30s with an FTP of 203. In MyWhoosh I have set the same FTP. The intervals for this workout should be around 264/275 W but appear to be way too low. If you look at the workout in calendar (screenshot attached) and the workout screen itself the targets are wrong. Do you know what the issue might be?
It seems like this workout is special as it doesn’t work on both platforms when transferred. I tried now other workouts (e.g. Tabatas by Scott Steele) and this workout among others was successfully transferred with the correct interval targets to both MyWhoosh and Rouvy. What is different with Billat 30/30s?
I don’t see those workouts in the Standard workouts folder so they must be shared workouts from a community group you joined (Club or Coach).
If you view details and note differences in how the intervals were defined that should explain why one works and the other doesn’t. You can then open the Billat workout in Designer, Copy it, change the definitions to match, edit Title to whatever you want, and Save.
Some workouts (with #MIXEDMODE tag) are done in SLOPE mode and users can use their gears & cadence to try and hit the power target. These intervals are often exported as ‘free ride’ segments to other apps since they don’t support mixed mode workouts.
Ok, thanks for the clarification. I think I had bad luck with MyWhoosh in the past where several workouts (using their importer) were not with the correct interval target when riding them. I will check before if they have this tag. So far I have set the filter to only choose standard workouts and will leave out community workouts.
BTW, the past 3 months following the AI plan as good as possible. So far making good progress with the limited amount of time I have. Kudos to the team!
Hi, I am based in NZ. I have a workout scheduled for today in Xert but it appears as yesterday in MyWhoosh - I think this may be due to timezone issues but I can’t find a way to update this in MyWhoosh. Any ideas or assistance would be appreciated, thanks!
It is the same here - I’ve planed 2 workouts one for tomorrow and one for the very next day . The one from tomorrow is displayed today and the one from the very next day isn’t displayed at all.
It seems that only the next plant workout from xert is retrieved and displayed for today in Mywoosh calendar.
Is this the way that the connection between xert and mywoosh works?
I believe so. MyWhoosh has integrated our Workout of the Day (WOTD) API which will fetch the planned (manually or automatically) WOTD. We don’t sync more than 1 day since the entire plan is adaptive & subject to change.
If there are 2 scheduled workouts, my guess is that the chronologically first workout will be synced.
If you can, send us an email (support at Xertonline.com) with some screenshots of what you’re doing & what you’re seeing in MyWhoosh and we can take a closer look from our end. TY!
It seems that the scheduled workout for the Forecast Placeholder is indeed what is automatically synced into MyWhoosh’s calendar, even if there are other planned workouts for the day.
But, of course, you can still download workout files from Xert & upload to MyWhoosh using their Workout Builder tool:
