Indoor sessions

Hello,

When doing prescribed workouts with the indoor trainer, I feel the workout is more difficult than outside because I am not able to push as much watts indoor.

I feel the difference between outdoor and indoor watts, is there a way around this so I don’t have to use different FTP settings for indoor and outdoor ?

Have you confirmed you have the same relative power accuracy indoors versus outdoors?
What is your cooling setup indoors? (number of fans? high velocity?)
Can you ride an LTP workout like Lucy for 90 minutes without any sweat hitting the floor?
If adequate cooling the simplest solution would be to lower % intensity during indoor workouts or ride in Slope mode and do your best to attain targets.
The goal is sufficient strain not necessarily full compliance.
