Heart rate derived strain and power

I have been happily uploading runs into Xert as I found that the derived strain matched my freshness very well. But I noticed today, thanks to the excellent new home page making it more obvious, that Xert is also deriving values for power, I don’t know if that’s new.

As a test I uploaded a run which was a flat out race but with the date changed to today so I could see what happened, and it actually updated my fitness signature.

Is this new functionality or have I missed it before? It’s unlikely that I will often run hard enough to change the signature but I would like to know if this is expected so I can look out for it.

The main function is for rides without power data, but it appears cadence also triggers calculations for running workouts –
