Has me scheduled for 6+ hour rides on a weekend day and some say high intensity works included. The auto suggested workouts are just 5 or 6 hour zone 2 only.
How do I get an idea of how I should incorporate intensity into these rides?
Long rides don’t have to be “slow”. Like typical races or spirited group rides, longer rides can have sections were you add some intensity - hard climbs, attacks, strong pulls, etc. If you’re seeing longer rides it’s because you generally already do them. Adding some spice gives your high and peak intensity systems a bit of attention to keep them improving towards your goal.
Generally, I suggest looking at your activity history to look for rides that come close to the demands for training and try and replicate.
