Best Xert settings for King of the Lake (47km Time Trial)

Hello everyone,

On September 26, 2026, I’ll be taking part in the “King of the Lake” at Lake Attersee—a 47 km time trial with around 280 meters of elevation gain.

The course starts very flat and fast along the east shore, but the second half on the west shore turns into rolling terrain with short punchy rollers.

I was wondering what the best Xert settings would be for my training leading up to this event. Currently, I have my Athlete Type set to Rouleur.

Does anyone have recommendations on the ideal setup / Athlete Type for this kind of race?

Thanks in advance and best regards,

Thorsten
