Zwift Hub One

Sorry, but no. I completely stopped using Zwift and just follow Xert Workouts with my Phone, but that does not allow me to use mixed mode. If that is important to you I’d guess you have to resort to switching between a cassette and the cog for these workouts.

It’s not something I’ve personally experimented with yet… maybe others have tried it out and can chime in. Perhaps now that Zwift Click/Cog is supported on the Neo2T I’ll have to order one and try it for myself.

My thought is that the best way to use virtual shifting would be to let Zwift to control your trainer (and use virtual gearing) to complete the training with the Magic Buckets, rather than trying to follow a structured workout.

I think @Mtnphotog refers to the Xert Smart workouts (mix of ERG and Slope mode), though I am not sure if he is using them using the Xert app or Rouvy. With the xert app those are not possible until virtual shifting would be added to the app. I also have no clue how Rouvy works.

And the solution is to either use full ERG workouts or use a cassette for the mixed mode ones.

Yes, ideally I’d like to be able to follow an Xert Smart workout (mix of ERG and Slope mode) using the EBC app while Rouvy is showing me moving through a virtual ride in response to my power output. The thing that would need to happen is for Xert to integrate with Zwift Click buttons to adjust the resistance during the Slope mode sections in the same way that Rouvy, Zwift, Biketerra, etc do to simulate shifting. As I’ve mentioned before, I think it should be looked into since more an more people will have Cogs and Clicks on their bikes because they have a lot of advantages over using real shifting on a trainer.
