Hi!
A few days ago, I replaced my Garmin FR245 with a new FR255. With the old one, I automatically got a XSS score when I used the watch for logging walks and runs, importing the activities into XERT. But now using the 255 I get no XSS, it just says zero.
Anyone out there with a solution to this, or do I have to manually enter an estimated XSS for each imported activity?
It looks like your new watch supports running power from Garmin. I’d recommend creating a running profile to upload your runs there - this will prevent your runs from skewing your cycling-specific signature.
Hi Scott,
Thanks for the welcome! I’ve been around Xert for many years now but not been active here in the forum.
I noticed that with the 255 as well, and I turned off that function on the watch.
One thing I just noticed; the automatic syncing between Garmin and Xert gave my walking activity of earlier today zero XSS, and the 73 minute walk for some reason was logged at several hundred minutes.
I deleted the activity and manually uploaded the TCX file from Garmin and all the data now seems spot on in Xert.
