xert workout TP LOcked; not adjusting the TP in Zwift

Hi Everyone, I just realized that the new workouts I downloaded in Zwift are locked to the TP from xert on the day of the download, instead of automatically adjusting to the Zwift TP. ( Previous workouts I downloaded a while back are fine, I just realized the new ones I downloaded the last 4 -5 weeks.

Did anyone report that bug?

With our direct integration to Zwift (read more here), Xert can just send your scheduled workout or the auto-selected WOTD directly to Zwift. This integration will use your current signature to make sure all the interval targets are fresh & up to date for training every day, so you don’t need to be constantly updating your Zwift FTP to keep it in line with Xert.

It also means you don’t need to download ZWO files anymore! However, if for some reason you did want to manually download ZWO files, you can simply open the ZWO file using a text editor (textedit on MacOS or Notepad on PC) and simple delete the line of text that has the ftpOverride:

<ftpOverride>267</ftpOverride>

and save the file again. That workout will then use whatever your FTP is set to in Zwift.

This isn’t recommended since all the intervals in the workout file are specific not only to your Threshold Power, but also your unique HIE and PP. So a workout that works well for you might not be a great fit for another athlete.

Hope this helps!
