Xert workout player on Garmin 1040 issues

Hi,
my setup:

  • Garmin 1040
  • Wahoo Kickr Core
  • Assioma Favero Duo

My biggest Problem:
The trainer resistance is not tracking the selected training with / without powermatch nothing seems to work, The problem is especially annoying when doing interval with very short breaks (e.g. Ronnestad) where the resistance does not drop at all.
This makes the workout player almost useless and my trainings very unproductive.

Additionally:
The workout selection in the xert EBC (which I tried as a fallback) does not show any workouts. Seems like the servers are not responding at all.

Even more:
The website is frustratingly slow in page loads, here again, suggested workouts is by far the slowest widget.

Do you have any suggestions how to at least fix the first issue?

There have been issues being reported out of Germany with slow performance. One user on Facebook posted a screenshot of a Telekom ISP having their data throttled. If you’re in Germany, you may want to look into this.

Move to Xert EBC (when the bandwidth issue resolves) rather than the Garmin. It should be a much more seamless operation. The Workout Player for Garmin is a tremendous app but there are things the app cannot enforce due to limitations of how the Connect IQ system works.

My ISP is indeed Magenta (which is a branch of Deutsche Telekom).
