Xert Smart training with Zwift Ride

Hey, is it possible to set up the full zwift integration when using Zwift Ride. As Zwift Ride must connect to your Pc / android / mac with Bluetooth, otherwise the controllers (shifters etc. wont work - not 100% needed for the workouts, but still, I’d rather have the full control - ie, be able to navigate the menus without bringing out a keyboard and mouse)

Ie. Xert EBC would need to somehow connect then with ANT+ to the trainer, I think… If I can run the Xert player via PC, I think I could do this - since I have both bluetooth and Ant+ radios in my computer.

Xert EBC will work with your smart trainer to control your efforts during workouts, but it does not have any way to connect with the Zwift Controllers - those can only be used in Zwift.

However, that’s not really necessary since you can easily push workouts to Zwift. Of course, you’ll have full access to the Zwift ride controllers there!

Yea, I know :stuck_out_tongue: I’ve been using Xert by just pushing the workouts to Zwift and then running them purely in Zwift.

But I guess I’ll try soonish to run them via EBC, just … disable controls I guess (Initially I was for some reason under impression that I must have the ride connected as well (I realized it while I was writing the question here :stuck_out_tongue: )

Overall I’d like to see the more granular control Xert offers over the workouts.

Any how, thanks for the great tool :slight_smile: I’m enjoying it a lot - especially the data nerd side of me - this really got me into doing the 2h endurance rides, which I absolutely hated before - but at least now I see numbers change as the result of the ride :smiley:
