XERT Player on Garmin Edge 840 not synchronizing consistently with selected workout

Xert Player on Garmin Edge 840 does not synchronize consistently with selected workout in Xert online planner or activity selected in Xert online dashboard or anywhere on the platform.

For the past two weeks i have not been able to pick a workout, schedule it days in advance in the planner, or select it and send it immediately to the EBC/Player and have the workout beeing synchronized on the Garmin Edge 840 Xert player. It doesnt matter how long/little in advance i plan the workout, it doesnt seem to update with Xert Player… The player always seems to be set on the last workout completed.

Please could you explain/clarify the sync process just to ensure i am doing it right?

PS: in addition, the copy/move function in the online planner does not work. It copies the workout but then the workout disapear from the schedule.

I don’t have an 840 but I followed these steps to test with my 830, EBC (iOS and Android), IQ Player, and the Remote/Session Players.
If you follow similar steps, does it work for you?

  1. Visited XO Today page on laptop.
  2. Confirmed a Planned workout was listed (Shut Up and Ride - 120) and matched what was shown under Workout Players for both EBC and Workout Player for Garmin.
    (If they don’t match, select Refresh button under the Workout Players section. If Garmin Player isn’t listed, enable it under Manage Workout Players then Refresh.)
  3. Ran iOS EBC on my iPad, selected Train, and correct workout was listed.
  4. Ran Android EBC on my phone, selected Activity, Workout and correct workout was listed.
  5. Selected IQ on my Garmin, Xert Player, waited for signature and workout to sync, tapped screen, and correct workout was listed.
  6. Ran Remote Player on XO and correct workout was listed.
  7. Switched to Session Player on XO and correct workout was listed.
  8. Started workout on my Android phone and workout began on Session Player.

Copy/move is also working for me. Try clearing your browser cache.

Many thanks for your response; i deleted all the coookies/data from Xert in my browser, then i enabled the Workout Player for Garmin and use the the widget ”Today’s Activities/Planned” to send it to the Workout Player for Garmin and that worked immediately.
