I just want to share how the Xert session player can be utilized whilest watching YouTube, Netflix, or other content on MacOS.
The Xert Session player has some nice features, but it is also full screen. It means that there is no good way to combine it with watching YouTube or Netflix in full screen mode. It is possible to pop out the chart and the gauge and put them on top of your video, but as soon as you interact with the video (e.g. to select a different one), they go in the background.
I have tried to solve this by using the app BetterTouchTool. I can now just press Opt + Cmd + X (or whatever you choose) and the Gauge and the Chart shows up at my prefered locations and sizes. All the title bars are removed so they do not use more space than required, and I made them partially transparent so it is easier to look at the video and the Xert info at the same time. Also, they will always stay on top, so you can browse for more content while still seeing your power numbers.
If you want to try it out, you can import the following file into BetterTouchTool. You will have to adjust the the with of the chart and the position of the gauge based on your screen resolution.
