Xert jersey for Zwift

Lately a nice integration between Xert and Zwift has been enabled. It would be nice if a Xert Jersey for Zwift would be created. Any ideas to come up with something like that?

I second the idea for a Xert jersey on Zwift, but I’ll take it further, why not a IRL Xert jersey? Add in some bibs shorts too:star_struck::mountain_biking_woman:

It’s not the easiest, took us a while as a club to get our jersey in to Zwift, apparently on the zwift side it’s very manual. Our experiences was that the best way to succeed was to provide the Zwift team suitable image/kit image files in the correct format

Does this mean it has been submitted?

Any news here. Trainerroad kit is available in Zwift. We are behind now☺️

Does Zwift even offer a DIY custom kit option like TPV?

Amen to that! I would like a Xert custom kit in TPVirtual

You can manage your own team on TPV and create a custom kit following these instructions –
Creating a Custom Team – TrainingPeaks Help Center
I don’t think it behooves Xert to be that team manager. Their plate is full and TP isn’t something I would expect them to support.
If Zwift offered a similar feature that would make more sense. I believe the current method requires ZwiftHQ to create custom kit.

We need to hire a good graphic designer that knows Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator. Know anyone with some cycling kit chops?

Just wanted to add a +1 to this. It would be great to represent Xert….and make me feel like less of Troll when repeatedly surging past and dropping behind random individuals when doing intervals!

TPV certainly makes it easy for anyone to do.
This 2020 Zwift Insider article implies there has been no movement on offering a similar feature in Zwift – How do I get my club’s kit into Zwift? | Zwift Insider

MyWhoosh offers the option but the way it works is limited to community rides. You can create a community and submit a custom jersey design for those who join group rides hosted by that community.

Here’s a recent post on the Zwift Forum that suggests if 250 Xerters got together as a club and requested custom kit Zwift might consider it.

I am trying to get some more traction for our “Community Club” this winter. Zwift generally pays more attention to clubs that: 1) have high membership and 2) host well-attended, high-quality events.

With that in mind, I’d encourage you to join our Xert Club on Zwift.

And consider (regularly) joining one of our weekly rides. We’ve been hosting a Wednesday “Surplus Seeker” ride weekly for ~8 years now? Last winter, we also added Saturday endurance ride, which was very well attended (125-150 weekly attendees). That will likely start up again in November. We may add another day each week - maybe a group workout or some other “fun” type of ride (still working on this with ride leaders). Most of the rides are early morning (EST) time (mid day EU time), but if there’s sufficient interest, we could consider adding EU morning /evening rides, but I would need volunteers to help with that.

Cheers!
