Just did a ride using the iPhone app - all working with the remote player. On completion it automatically started a second workout and all the data for my first workout was lost. I stopped and selected save but all it saved was the first minute of the second workout. Very frustrating.
This is a known issue with the iOS app that we are working on. Your best bet to using the iOS app is to use Xert Online to select your workout first, then close/start the iOS app and start your workout. This method should work without issue. In case there is an issue, you may want to record your session with your regular bike computer as a backup. Sorry for the trouble.
