Xert EBC Android with Zbike 2.0

Hi.
Through the Android app, I can connect to my smart bike (Zycle Zbike 2.0), however, it only transmits cadence values to me, the rest does not work.
Is there anything I can do to be able to use the app with my smart bike?
Thanks
Jose

Android app requires a BLE FTMS connection to trainer.
Make sure no other app is paired to the trainer on BLE at the same time. Example, Zwift.
The other option is an ANT+ FE-C connection to control the trainer. That would require adding an ANT+ dongle to your Android phone along with required ANT+ service apps.

Hi

My Smartbike suport BLE FTMS.

I don’t have other apps running at the same time.

I have already used my smartbike with all the other known apps on the market, the only one that didn’t work was Xert EBC.

So I think it’s your application.

If it supports FTMS then it should work with EBC without any problems. All the FTMS trainers we have tested have been fully functional. Have you contacted Zbike? What did they say?

I’ve never heard of Zbike unfortunately and no users have reported anything unfortunately. We don’t have one to test with to provide you with an answer. Zbike should be able to easily test with our app and let you know what the issue is.

I have already contacted the manufacturer of my smart bike and they confirm.
The EBC app connects to the smart bike, the resistance works, the rpm’s work, it just doesn’t give power output values.
Is there nothing that can be done?

Post a screenshot of Sensors list shown in the app.
Your original post says only cadence connected.
Do you now have trainer control too?

Yes, because I hadn’t done a workout yet.
So I ran one, erg mode, where the EBC controls the resistance of my smart bike according to the workout interval, it just doesn’t show watts.
Attached PRT SC.

You might want to try plugging in an ANT+ dongle and using the FE-C protocol for power and trainer control. If you own a Garmin or Wahoo, you can send workouts to those devices and use their native ANT+ trainer control and power as well.

I already bought an ant+ dongle and it already works, I can’t wait for tomorrow to test a smart workout. :grinning: :ok_hand: :muscle:
