As you many have noticed, today we introduced yet another first when it comes to training and competing with power: Difficulty Scoring.
This new metric provides an interactive measure of the difficulty of your rides and workouts. Use it to obtain an objective measurement on how hard things were for you. Track your ability to improve your ability to perform to higher levels of difficulty relative to your own abilities. Assess why some activities were easier than others.
Also use the metric to see how you may be able to improve your pacing and strategy during group rides, races and time-trials by looking to prevent increasing the difficulty unnecessarily. One can compare the trade-offs in improved results with the challenge of meeting the higher levels of difficulty that will need to be endured.
