XDB "Carbs/hr" data field

Hi!

I got a question in regards to the “Carbs/hr” metric for the Xert Dash Board.

Two/three years ago I started to eat/drink more during my longer outdoor rides, up to 30g carbs/hr. I felt better, more “powerful” even at the end of the day. However when the rides went over 4hrs I did felt often “stuffed” at a certain point. Especially when cafe stops kicked in ;)!.

I started using Xert last October also using the XDB for my Edge. And I realized that the “Carbs/hr” are much lower than 30g/hr. As I am this week in a “training camp”, I started to eat less and as of now I never felt “stuffed” on the longer rides and was still able to produce the power.

Even though I am fully aware of the fact that this is VERY individual and there are a lot of factors come into play, I would like to hear about other peoples experience? Are you following the given numbers? Do you treat it as “rough figure”? Etc.
