I am using the Workout player on the Garmin Edge 1030 for some years now and since some months it always starts the live tracking on the Garmin Edge. I use live tracking for when I ride outdoors, but for some reason the workout player also starts its. It also happens that after using the workout player my xert data fields are not shown anymore. I have to restart my Garmin Edge in order to be able to see the data fields of Xert again. Somehow it seems to me that the workout player is messing with the memory of the Garmin Edge.

I had the same problem, only solved it by turning off automatic live track for the winter when I was inside mostly
