I have the following setup: a Kickr Bike Shift, which I control with a Garmin Edge 1030+ and the Xert Workout Player. In Xert, I have the “Base-Built-Peak” program, and until recently, the workout for the day was loaded when I started the Workout Player.
Recently, I’ve been having the following problem: When I start a workout via “Play now,” it appears in Garmin Connect, but the Workout Player starts an older one. I’ve already re-established the sync with Garmin, reinstalled the Workout Player on the Edge, and repeatedly synced the Edge with Garmin Connect, but that hasn’t helped.
As of today, no workouts are being scheduled in the Planner either, even though I haven’t changed anything in my program. Can anyone help me?
Once enabled you should be able to send a workout manually if one hasn’t been added to Planner automatically after midnight. Or add to Planner directly with [+] and it should show up under the Workout Player for Garmin box.
Example:
I haven’t used WOTD for a while since I prefer to pick my workouts right before I do them.
I enabled Automatic for testing. I will let you know tomorrow if it works for me.
Since today, I have a training suggestion in Planner again. I have no idea what caused it. I can only test whether it also works with sending to the Garmin workout player this weekend. Thanks for the quick help.
I’ve left Automatic enabled and noticed today the WOTD is listed under Today | Planned, but the workout does not show up under Workout Players for EBC or Workout Player for Garmin. However, it is listed under Garmin Connect and Zwift.
I’ll keep on eye on it to see if there’s a pattern to the problem.
