Two Questions

Hi All,

We’ve been using Xert for about two months now but have uploaded data covering the past year.

Do any other athletes/coaches find that their status is always ‘very tired’? Do you over-ride this as a coach and keep going when you know the athlete is capable of more?

And for Armando - how does Xert determine how tired and how trained an athlete is? Is there a science to this that I ‘should not’ over-ride as coach? Interested to hear your thoughts as well.

Mark, have a quick read through our Fitness Prediction blog as it provides a description with calculations on how these are derived. Being tired or very tired is good and part of overreaching to drive positive changes. Just be wary that too much time spent tired without recovery periods could lead to overtraining.
