I regularly upload workouts from the Xert planner to my Garmin Connect account to have for on the road training. The title that Garmin receives has a generic title of “Xert Cycling Workout” and is not editable. Since the title is not capable of edit in Garmin, is there a way to get the actual workout title, such as “Active Recovery -40” or “Valley of the Damned” as the primary title in the Garmin Connect file?
We used to only send 1 workout to Garmin (and constantly sync over that 1 workout), but it was buried in Garmin’s menus (Training & Planning > Workouts), and people had trouble finding it to send to their device for training.
Because of this, we switched to having Garmin schedule the workout (so it shows up right away in their app & makes it easier to access), but that means that you get a new workout each day. With the new behaviour, we could probably include the title of the workout. Good suggestion.
Thank you! That would be helpful. I would like to be able to look back and repeat particular workouts and this would assist.
