Threshold power

Hi. Sorry if this is covered elsewhere, but I’m new to Xert. I just wanted to clarify how the threshold power is calculated. My suggested threshold power is 330W, which was a little higher than I’d expected. Just wanted to see how it is worked out.

Thanks

HI Andrew, we use a complex set of calculations and pattern recognition to determine what your threshold would have to be to perform as you did. If you’re comparing to other systems it may wel differ - many of the other systems use the old 20 min x 0.95 methodology, which is only accurate for about 40% of the population. But if you think it’s WAAYYY off, send a note to support@xertonline.com and the team there can have a look at your profile for you. Sometimes a wonky power file can throw things off a bit.

Thanks for the response! I’m going to stick with it for now and see how it changes over time. I’m enjoying Xert so far. I like the different approach😊

It just keeps getting better, and better, and better, and bet… But I’m we’re a little biased
