synch with Garmin Connect not possible with trainings earlier than Dec 24

Hi, unfurtunately I am not able to synch my older activities from Garmin.
When I select Synch/Garmin/Custom Range I am not able to go earlier than Dec. 24.
If I select an earlier date, it only selects one date, not a range.
I use win 10 and chrome.

Any idea how I can synch my older activies into xert?

Nic

Having the same issue but with strava workouts.
Custom date range on the Xert uploader doesn’t alter the date range.

The downstream impact of this is that xert has built a fitness signature only based on the last couple months and has set future goals for me that I can do today. Not a bad thing because I get breakthroughs easily but it’s also saying I’m ‘very tired’ and only suggesting 40 min recovery rides. I’ll do 2 hour endurance instead but that just leaves me at ‘very tired’.

You can adjust the Recovery Demands slider to the left if the gradient on the Planner doesn’t match how you feel day to day. That will increase the training load.

awesome thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

I would appreciate it if someone from xert could address the issue and offer a solution. Thanks! Nic

Garmin is rather strict with how you can access (your own) data from Connect. You can only request activities once (if you delete it by accident, you can’t request it again). Also, your activity data can only be requested in ~90 day windows (likely the issue you’re running into here). So if you want to bulk import, you’ll need to make several requests in separate 90 day windows. They also don’t push any activities from other 3rd parties (Zwift, Rouvy, etc.) - only activities recorded on Garmin devices…

Given all these limitations, for historical activities, I’d strongly recommend syncing from Strava instead. You can continue to sync from Garmin moving forward. HTH.
