Suggested workouts should show heart rate for Heartrate derived workouts

Under recommended training, you typically show a map and a chart with power and the MPA for each suggested workout/activity. However, for heartrate-derived activities, you will not show the chart (as you do not have power or MPA), but wouldn’t it make sense to show a chart of the heart rate as that is the best indication of how hard the workout is?

Not exactly. HR can only be a target for sustained easier efforts. Once you have some intensity, HR isn’t meaningful and ideally you should combine it with cadence. HRDM does this as an algorithm but has not been designed to provide HR/cadence targets. That’d be very difficult / impossible to follow.

This is interesting. So are you saying Xert doesn’t take into account HR when calculating “tiredness”? Isn’t a low or high HR indicative that something is wrong?
