Stuck in yelloe

For several weeks now my training status been stuck at yellow stars. Been at vacation but still been working out with moderate intensitet. No idea I never get green again

What are your Program settings?
Post screenshots (desktop views) of your Training page and XMPC set to 6 weeks or 3 months.

Could you post your fitness signature graph showing high and peak training and recovery load? What is your recovery demands setting?

See here for an explination of what yellow means: Training Status and Form – Xert

I did take a Quick Look at your account and it seems the system is working as intended. You’ve been averaging between 5-10 High XSS per day, which is keeping you in a bit of a perpetual yellow status (i.e. your High & Peak systems need rest, but you’re still racking up more High & Peak XSS every day).

I suppose that it’s possible for your signature to be underestimated and the system thinks you’re riding harder than you are. However, given you’ve got several breakthroughs recently (nice work!) and your signature seems to be rather accurate, I don’t think this is likely.

The more likely option is your High & Peak systems simply need rest & recovery. The best way to do that is to ride easy for a few days - keep the intensity below Threshold - or better yet below LTP - and allow your High & Peak systems to rest! No High or Peak XSS until you’re back to blue!

Hi,

In the progression view, in the diagram I think I understand Training load but what does Recovery load mean?

Thx / Per

Your Training page screenshot indicates a BT two days prior. That no doubt drove you to red/tired the next day and yellow/tired into the following day depending on the high/peak strain incurred.
As Scott mentions if you keep adding high/peak strain on subsequent days you are perpetually kicking the yellow can down the road.

To view when you will be blue/green fresh again view the Planner in desktop mode on your mobile browser or on a laptop/tablet which defaults to desktop view.
Here’s an example where a Tough Mixed Rouleur Ride on Sunday drove me into red through Monday and back to blue very late in the day on Tuesday.

Or scroll down on the Training page on a phone until you see back to blue –

If you don’t feel the gradient represents a valid assessment of your form you can tweak the Recovery Demands slider to decrease/increase the rate of change.
Or with XATA move the Freshness Feedback slider to temporarily change recommendations for the day. For example, slide to right on a tired/yellow day until recommended list shows some HIT workouts.
