Hello,
Sorry, I’m using Google Translate.
I mainly train with Magic Buckets, but sometimes, to mix things up, I enjoy following a structured workout outdoors using the training page on my Garmin Edge 1040.
I’ve noticed a difference in how Xert and TrainerRoad work; the pages aren’t the same depending on whether I load an Xert or TrainerRoad workout.
With TrainerRoad, the small red rectangle represents the average power of the current interval. This average fluctuates very little; if the rectangle is green, it means everything is okay, I’m within the target power for the interval. If it turns red, I’m outside the target power range.
With Xert, the small red rectangle represents the average power over 3 seconds, so this little rectangle is unusable; it just changes from red to green every second.
I find the TrainerRoad settings more logical for the training page.
The question is, is it possible to have the same functionality as TR when sending a structured workout to Garmin?
