I have an event coming up on May 18th but I think the taper week seems odd and almost nonexistent. A week ago it seemed reasonable with 2 rest days before and no hard and/or long workouts

What Readiness Level for the Event?

Turns out it was partly due to manual settings for duration. I have now turned on “Use Advisor” and things look more in sync with what i would expect.
@ridgerider2 Readiness level is set to automatic. currently at 3.1.The event is competitive. Usually there is a peloton for the first 100k and then things start cooking.
@gduffley i’ll check the two different “adapt” options. Sounds odd that they should be different though.
That looks like a reasonable taper week now.
If I had time on the 11th I’d probably add another hour or so of easy pedaling after the HIT portion of the ride considering how long the event will be a week later.
