Smart workouts too hard

I read on DCRainmaker that it was possible to reduce the target intensity on a work interval during the workout if you weren’t managing to fit the required power, by swiping left on a Garmin 1000. How do you do this on a Garmin 520 and on the Mobile App? Thanks

On the Garmin 520, you use the left-side buttons to increase or decrease the target power or resistance (depending on your settings). Note that the change is only in effect for the current interval and your targets will go back to whatever is in the workout for the next interval - meaning if you want the entire workout to be 20 watts harder because you’re feeling good that day, you’ll need to bump it up at the start of each interval. I don’t use the Android app so will leave that answer to others here :slight_smile:
