Running: Stryd, Garmin (Epix2) and MPA/Power

Hi,

I’m trying to fall back to a simple setup using Stryd and the Garmin displaying Power in a field and having the MPA/Power app of Xert.

I used to have this working but I can no longer get it going.

the “Stryd Zones | Data Fields” ConnectIQ app is installed and the Stryd pod connects.
When using the ConnectIQ data fields the power from the pod shows but only if I use the connectIQ data fields of Stryd not if I use native data power fields or the Xert App.

I don’t use the Stryd running app with the workouts, … on the watch.

in the instructions for Xert I read:
Connect your Stryd to your Fenix, Forerunner or D2 watch as power meter

I did, but it doesn’t seem the matter how I try, I can’t get it working anymore.
I use the ANT+ connection , not the Bluetooth. Maybe the key was there?

I don’t have an answer for you but someone else had a similar post on the Facebook forum so it isn’t just you running into this problem.

Don’t suppose you had any luck with this? Mine has stopped working as well.

Nope, doesn’t work. It is also very resource hungry for the watch. Can’t get it combined with core anymore either.
What I haven’t tried is to connect it again as bluetooth, but that’s agains all advise of Stryd.
Or remove all connectIQ apps and reinstall them.
Time consuming and frustrating activity
