Ride transfer from karoo to xert

Now today I had another strange behavior of my karoos or rather when transferring to Xert. I had filled my buckets almost exactly. I didn’t take a picture now, but I was at about 124 low xss, 12 high xss and 3 peak xss. After the transfer, I now have the following result in Xert:

Can someone explain this to me? So I did way too much.

Post the chart or make the activity public and post the url.
What type of power sensor was paired to the Karoo?

Today I had a similar issue. High Bucket did report low on the Karoo, later showed a lot more on xertonline. (13 vs 17ish).

4iiii Powermeter connected to Karoo via Ant+.

Also 4iiii powermeter.

To be rated Hard the Difficulty Score needs to exceed 150.
That would mean an effort near or at total collapse. I assume that wasn’t the case.
Is it possible a recent Karoo update affects the FIT file, the transfer of the file, or a 4iiii meter in particular?
Is the original FIT file available on the Karoo platform to compare to?

I was far from a collapse. Here is the FIT File from the Karoo:

I deleted the ride and uploaded it again and nothing changed. I myself do not find any abnormalities in the FIT file.

I suggest you file a support ticket with support@xertonline.com.
I don’t have the wherewithal to analyze the FIT file, but some obvious discrepancies are 126 DS (Difficulty Score) shown on Xert chart doesn’t match the rating. Plus a 855-watt spike detected which was likely filtered out by the server (not shown on chart). Do you remember putting in a sprint effort like that?
Is that screenshot from Hammerhead’s dashboard?

I have a Short sprint yes cause I am in the alpes for holiday and its obviously very hilly here. The screenshot is from the hammerhead App/dashboard.

I will contact the Support :+1:

Hi Harry! There are no errors in any data transfer… Everything is working as expected. You had a breakthrough on that ride.

When you get a breakthrough, Xert has to recalculate all your ride status with your updated signature, including MPA, XSS, difficulty, etc.

Ah ok, I still have to get used to these adjustments during a workout. If everything is in order, I am satisfied. I was just surprised by this XSS jump, which also remained the same when I flagged the ride. But thanks for the answer and explanation.

Yours is a bit of an edge case because the Breakthrough increased your Peak Power, but partially dropped your TP a few watts. This happens from time to time — I’ve personally had this happen many times the past couple of months from max efforts during racing where I’m not watching any of my Xert data.

You might find it a bit easier to push hard & generate a breakthrough on your next hard ride that brings your threshold right back up to where it was before, or raises it even higher!

Great, thanks for the explanation.
