Return to Xert

Hi all,

I was previously an Xert Subscriber but for one reason and another I ended up taking a break and am now looking to come back.

After I import all my historic rides from Strava, can someone remind me how it manually increase my fitness signature? I’d like to take a look after I’ve back-loaded but I’ve potentially not done any 100% all out efforts recently so I may not want my actual efforts to be deemed my max by the platform. Obviously I would look to do a proper max test to reset my signature going forwards.

Is this something I should be concerned about with the history? I don’t want Xert to artificially think some of those rides were harder than they were? Or net-net will it not matter that much?

Any thoughts would be greatly received.

Cheers,
Simon

You can adjust (seed) your signature at any time by viewing the last activity on file and make changes under the chart then Save which locks the signature and uses that as your reference point moving forward.
Or locate your last BT on file and do the same thing and Xert will apply that reference signature to activities since that date.
Or if you feeling fresh and think your signature is understated, ride this short workout in Slope mode, exceeding targets and durations (if able) and make sure to ride to a failure point on the last interval.
Even better jump up right before you are about to fail and try to sprint for at least 5-7 secs.
