As new to Xert will it tell me when to rest… Or do you choose to when stars are red?
Always listen to your body. Xert will indicate that you’ve accumulated a lot of overall strain from training (recovery load) recently relative to your over amount of training you’ve built up (training load). This is labelled as “Very tired”. The advisor will only recommend recovery rides when this occurs. Generally it will match well to how you’re feeling and you should consider rest or easy recovery rides. Some without a lot of data on the system, might see it say “very tired” meanwhile they are fresh. Xert is only able to report on the data it has, of course.
