  1. For multiple activities in a single day, the XSS bars should stack, not overlap.
  2. Clicking on any XSS bar should open the corresponding activity in the same way as clicking on a breakthrough circle does.

Not unreasonable but I could certainly manage without

That second point sounds good - simple way to jump to the activity.
