I train indoors on the turbo (interval work and active recovery) with a power meter (Powertap Wheel) and HR. When I train outdoors, I don’t use a power meter but just carry on using HR monitor - I tend to ride by feel outdoors especially when doing chaingang sessions or a long steady ride. Will intermixing power and HR mess with my fitness signature?
At the moment, Xert works best (and only) with power data. We’re looking to change that over the coming months and introduce more HR-based capabilities.
