I suggest you disable Power Smoothing on Kicker if currently enabled so you can confirm the sec by sec power output.
For greater detail you can also watch the Session Player on a laptop/tablet while the workout runs on your phone.
What was the name of the workout?
If a SMART workout with dynamic power intervals, there will be changes to power targets under ERG control.
