Outdoor Ride Average Power Lower Than In Garmin

Hi, I just did an outdoor ride of a couple of hours, the average power in Garmin was 133 watts (I know time to hang my head in shame  ) but in Xert it says average power 105 watts. Is the discrepancy due to the breaks I took midride when power was 0? I had the Garmin device set to autopause when stopped. Thanks.

Yes, Xert tracks ALL timepoints, because this affects our calculations for MPA recovery. This often results in lower Avg/XEP compared to Garmin’s calculations of Avg/Norm power. Hope this helps!

Thanks
