Unfortunately the only way I can use the EBC extension on my Karoo 3 is by loading it then selecting a workout and running that workout directly from the extension. If I start a ride on the Karoo then select MPA in a data field, which takes my directly to the EBC, my fitness signature changes to a much lower one, thus the workout is irrelevant. This happens even if I load the extension first, on WiFi, which loads the correct fitness signature, then start a ride on Karoo, press the MPA data field, which at this point will read correct MPA but as it switches to the extension it reverts back to a low, incorrect fitness signature. So I have to only use the extension without starting a ride on my Karoo which mean I don’t get any route data or distance from my karoo.
I think the cause may be related to the fact that I deactivated my account data on Xert, as it was way off, re activated and loaded appropriate rides plus Strava data. My new fitness signature on Xert, online now seems very realistic and has been backed up by breakthroughs. My problem is using the Karoo and pressing data field MPA reverts to the old fitness signature, which no longer shows up anywhere else.
I have uninstalled the EBC extension on the karoo and reinstalled it but it keeps reverting to the old signature. Very frustrating as I like my gps route data, distance etc which I don’t get using the EBC only.
