MPA - why is it decreasing over time?

Over the past 3 months, my TP has risen 1.5w per week (yay!), yet my MPA has actually decreased over the same period.

Riding with XERT indoors on smart trainer 4 - 5 times a week. Happy to share more info

I guess you would need to do a couple of fresh all out sprints. Max MPA is basically starting at your (1 sec) peak power, determined by said sprints - try to hold as high a power as you can for as long as you can, but at least 5 seconds.
