I read the blogpost, but it does not seem to contain all the info. Is there a manual somewhere?
Examples:
The “current target” line. According to the blog post it says either Interval or Recovery, with a duration next to it. However during my ride I noticed a third state (forgot the name), it also showed a duration but the number didn’t seem to move. That state is not mentioned in the blog. What is it?
The data field also seems to produce sounds, similar to the Xert Dashboard when you are close to a breakthrough, however I’m not hitting a bucket target nor is there anything displayed on screen when I hear it. What is going on at that moment?
There is also “ready” - that is where you’ve finished the recovery timer but haven’t yet started a new interval. Basically ready to start your next interval when you want or there is a good spot on your course.
In the Facebook group they have asked for things we want to see in a how to video. Sounds like that is something planned for release in the near future.
It beeps when you are near a breakthrough, when your power is too low, when your power is too high, when you start an interval, and probably some other things. I’d prefer less beeping.
But what does the time value next to it mean? I don’t remember if it was “ready” or something else.
And those beeps, it’s always the same beep, but zero visual info, so you have no idea what it’s beeping for. The ones I’m talking about happen during the interval.
The target watts are a range rather than an exact number, but if you are below or above that range you’ll see arrows pointing up or down. I believe it beeps too.
You can turn off Beeps under XMB Settings on Garmin Connect if you want.
