Magic Buckets - "rounding error" intervals

With recent updates Magic Buckets can now take account of multiple rides in one day, which is a great feature for me when I use it on my commute.

However, for the second session of the day, MB takes whatever you did in the first ride and marks them as “complete”. When the actual completed values do not exactly match the amount filled in the peak or high bucket (for example see photo), the training screen requires you to complete a single interval to correct this rounding error.

The reason this is frustrating is that after completing this single interval, you get the “ride easy” screen on the Magic Buckets interface for the rest of the ride.

Without this rounding error you would get the Magic Endurance screen from the start of the ride, which would match the intended training.

Please could the tolerance on the “completed” buckets be set slightly wider to avoid this happening?

Also, I think this has been raised before but it would also be great if the “Recovery Days” remaining per energy system could be viewed outside the Magic Buckets datafield i.e. on the Xert web view.

We’re working on some new updates that should help to address these issues. They are part of a much bigger update so not something you’ll see next week but suffice it to say that is our main priority at the moment. Stay tuned…
