Magic Buckets on Wahoo?

Hey all, new to the xert community and unfortunately own a wahoo bolt v2 bike computer  . Does anyone know if there’s a possibility of the magic buckets feature coming to wahoo devices in the future at all? I know there’s no connectiq app store like on the garmins, but the feature seems like it’d be a game changer for outdoor training.

I don’t think it can appear on Wahoo, without apps it’s difficult.

I’m a Roam V2 user and double your concern about Wahoo. Come on Xert!

Wahoo has no dev platform (like Garmin Connect IQ) to add 3rd party data fields or apps. Never has.
Their API only supports activity sync to Xert and the ability to send a selected workout or sync WOTD (workout of the day) from the Planner.

I see. So it’s not an Xert issue, but rather a Wahoo issue. I guess I’ll pester them then, lol. Thanks for the clarification.

I think a number of Wahoo users were hoping the Ace and updated models were going to support add-ons but that didn’t happen.
I don’t know if it’s an architecture limitation or something Wahoo isn’t willing to pursue.
A version of Android is running under the hood but it would need to be configured to host APK files, provide storage, memory, access to sensors, communication, etc.

Wahoo would have to undergo a cultural shift away from doing basic things very well and that is it. This is never happening.
