How i can repair this problem?
Hi @XanSuarez - make sure you have the Garmin Connect Mobile app open on your mobile device and that it’s connected to your Edge device. This is needed to fetch your fitness signature & XSS targets from Xert and update your data field.
My Garmin Edge 530 is also “Waiting for Targets”, but does not show the “Garmin Connect Issue” message. I posted a new question with pictures. I’m very frustrated.
What version is shown when you press Start button on your Edge?
Oops. I meant when you display XMB and start a recording.
The version of XMB should be displayed which is currently 1.9.2.

I noticed this morning that I do get “Garmin Connect issue”, it disappears away pretty quickly.
My 530 is on 1.9, I plan to update tonight. I hope that resolves the issue!
I updated to 1.9.4, synched with Garmin Connect on my laptop and then on my phone, my 530 still shows “Waiting for Targets”. I haven’t gone on an actual ride with it because of the weather (snow, ice, high of 20 degrees). Is that what it is waiting for? Again? I did that when I first installed it and got the message on XERT that it worked.
The frustration continues . . . help is appreciated!
I’m running on 1.9.4 currently with an occasional hiccup I can resolve by reloading the field on my 830.
An update has been pushed out but being held up on Garmin’s end. Hopefully that is resolved soon so we can get the latest.
Connect IQ can be a problematic environment to code for due to differences in SDK versions between devices and model years plus conflicts with other 3rd party developer fields. You can’t know what to expect until you publish in the field. Then it’s whack-a-mole time.
For specific technical issues for this, probably best to reach out to our support team directly so we can track it & help get it resolved. We do generally monitor the forum here, but we don’t treat it as a place to troubleshoot directly.

Will test with today’s workout. I’ll be riding a Hardness Test workout on EBC in Slope mode while monitoring XMB at same time on my 830.
