Magic Bucket Screen on Garmin not Showing the Planned Workout

Been using Xert Magic Buckets with my Garmin 1040 for a couple of months and love it. Recently when I look at my planner I see workout numbers “ABC” then when I go for the ride my Garmin magic bucket screen show numbers “XYZ”.

Keeps showing a XSS LOW of 27 at 126W for an Hour. Super chill ride but on any given day I may have actual buckets to fill based on my planner on the website.

Any ideas what I could be doing wrong?

Check the Training page or Planner form gradient.
If calculated form is red/v.tired at the moment the XSS target will be 27 | 0 | 0.
Same for a rest/recovery day.

Was out of town and took a few days off the bike. Training status shows fresh, got the the trainer for a hour long planned session that had some buckets to fill. When I powered up my Garmin I got the easy 27XSS workout again. It is basically the only workout my Garmin ever shows now.

What does the Training page show for today’s goal?
That is what Magic Buckets fetches during startup. Either the top level XSS goal or the values from the scheduled workout on the Planner.
If that doesn’t match what’s shown on XMB it sounds like an account issue.
For that you’ll need to file a support ticket with support@xertonline.com.

Yea it as like 117/5.5/1 for an hour at about 160W. I think I need to log a support case. Thanks

Just went outdoors, filled all the buckets, but in training Page I discovered that I didn’t reach the target

Did you have a breakthrough? That can cause you to miss targets because Xert calculates on the new signature while MB is using the pre-ride signature.

No BT. I would guess mb target where referred to the automaticallly scheduled wod and not to the forecasted xss of the day.

If you decide you want the top-level XSS target, you should clear the scheduled entry on the Planner before starting XMB.

fair, I planned a mb training but it looks easier as you suggested
