Lost Satellite Error

Hey folks. Over the past few days while using the Xert app (indoors) on my Garmin 830, I’ve noticed that the device keeps trying to acquire a GPS position. I’m getting a series of beeps with “Lost Satellite” messages. The activity profile that I’m in before switching to the Xert app itself has all of the location-based services (including GPS, of course) switched off. It’s a relatively new phenomenon, and I haven’t modified any settings. Anyone else seen this?

Hi Michael, sounds like your GPS setting (in the Xert app) is on. If you enter the menu by tapping the screen, you should be able to select ‘GPS ON/OFF’. This should resolve the issue. If you decide to use the workout player outside, remember to turn the GPS back on. Cheers
