I want to have the work intervalls in ERG mode at a certain wattage, but during the active rest in between i want to choose the resistance by just using my gears on the bike. Is there such a function in the workout creator?
Yes, thatās called āMixed modeā in Xert. I havenāt used the creator to build one myself but I suspect you just set a āgradeā to simulate for the freeride/none-ERG intervals.
I cant see any āmixed modeā. Where do i find it?
These are the choices it seems?
Itās just what the ones that are in the library are tagged with to tell you that you have to set your workout player to āautoā to get both ERG and simulation portions play as intended.
I think you just create a workout and select intervals with watt or any other ERG and some with grade to simulate a gradient in real life.
The last one, Slope is where you select the gradient for the slope. Sorry, I didnāt have it in front of me to know the used wording.
Ok great Thank you!
@Adjev yes, you can set the slope of the trainer for the āfree rideā sections. For an easy recovery step, Iād recommend using 0-1% slope.
Note that you can still set a target wattage for those intervals, but itāll be up to your gearing/cadence to hit the target power. Hope that makes sense!
Awsome, thanks!
