Is there a "free ride" setting in the workout creator?

I want to have the work intervalls in ERG mode at a certain wattage, but during the active rest in between i want to choose the resistance by just using my gears on the bike. Is there such a function in the workout creator?

Yes, thatā€™s called ā€œMixed modeā€ in Xert. I havenā€™t used the creator to build one myself but I suspect you just set a ā€˜gradeā€™ to simulate for the freeride/none-ERG intervals.

Itā€™s just what the ones that are in the library are tagged with to tell you that you have to set your workout player to ā€˜autoā€™ to get both ERG and simulation portions play as intended.
I think you just create a workout and select intervals with watt or any other ERG and some with grade to simulate a gradient in real life.

The last one, Slope is where you select the gradient for the slope. Sorry, I didnā€™t have it in front of me to know the used wording.

Ok great :ok_hand: Thank you!

@Adjev yes, you can set the slope of the trainer for the ā€˜free rideā€™ sections. For an easy recovery step, Iā€™d recommend using 0-1% slope.

Note that you can still set a target wattage for those intervals, but itā€™ll be up to your gearing/cadence to hit the target power. Hope that makes sense!

Awsome, thanks!
